Felicia and Michael’s journey began in high school at the age of 16, where they quickly became best friends and discovered they had been early elementary school classmates. After drifting apart post- high school, they reconnected following the loss of a mutual friend, rekindling their bond into a deep love. Eight years into their relationship, Michael planned a surprise proposal during what was supposed to be a birthday dinner for his best friend and future best man, Emmanuel. Felicia walked into a restaurant transformed with white rose petals, candles, and a romantic dinner setup for two, her initial confusion turning to tears of joy as she realized the true purpose of the evening. The special moment was made even more memorable with Emmanuel and his girlfriend secretly assisting in the setup and capturing the proposal on video from the restaurant patio.

The highlight was the outdoor courtyard where guests enjoyed dancing to the Italian tarantella, alongside attractions like a saxophonist, cigar bar, photo booth, and an ice cream sandwich truck from BooYah, the couple’s favorite.“The party in the courtyard was our favourite part,” shares Felicia. “There was always something for guests to enjoy.”
