In October of 2015, Elvin took a painting class that Sindy (a freelance art teacher) was leading. In broad strokes, the class led to a masterpiece when the couple began dating in January 2016.

Elvin proposed to Sindy at Hycroft Manor on April 30, 2020. Noticing that they were the only visitors apart from the photographers, Sindy thought that they were having a photoshoot, until to her surprise, Elvin began to kneel and propose!

The couple returned to Hycroft Manor for their intimate wedding exactly two years after the proposal on April 30, 2022. Full-service planning, floral, decor and event design was provided by Paradise Events .

The inspiration for the wedding was an elegant French château with a modern touch. Planner and event designer Liting Chan dreamt up a nine-foot-tall floral fountain as the focal point for the decor.

The fine art-inspired invitations included a sketch of the ceremony venue and fountain.

Sindy wore a Pronovias wedding gown.

The inspiration for the ceremony decor was an elegant French château with a modern touch. Paradise Events created a nine-foot-tall fountain covered in pink, blue and white florals and greenery as a focal point for the decor. Trailing floral garlands decorated the columns of the manor.
Paintings inspired by the beginnings of the couple’s relationship were included in the ceremony decor, and the officiant included references to them during the ceremony.
Guests received flowers and candies as favours, and red envelopes were sent to the staff to thank them for their hard work.
