Michelle and Scott first met at a friend’s party and had been together seven years before deciding to tie the knot! The couple was married in an intimate ceremony at The University Women’s Club of Vancouver At Hycroft on March 28, 2021.

Liting Chan of Paradise Events provided full-service event planning, floral, and decor design for the big day. “The best part of working with Liting was just being able to show up at the wedding. She took all the planning stress from me and the designs she came up with were beyond my expectations,” shares the bride.

The wedding design centered around the couple’s favourite colour (orange!) which even extends to their eye-catching Mclaren! Michelle wore a Monique Lhuillier gown and Maria Elena Headpieces crown, both purchased at Bisou Bridal. Her hair and makeup was provided by Goodness Production.

Find Michelle and Scott’s story in the Winter/Spring 2022 Vancouver Edition of WedLuxe Magazine.

Paradise Events created Michelle’s two bridal bouquets, a cascading white orchid bouquet for her pre-wedding photos and a statement-making bouquet of bright oranges and pinks, to tie-in with the ceremony floral designs

Paradise Events created a floral chuppah bursting with varying shades of orange garden roses, peach peonies, accented with white hydrangeas and soft greenery. The result was a unique and uplifting focal point for the ceremony, framed with white draping and flanked with white ceremony chairs
"My favourite moment of the day was walkingdown the aisle and seeing all of the beautiful flowers, and him waiting for me there.”- Michelle, BRIDE
