Christine and Raffi wanted their wedding to feel polished but personal, and that is exactly what they got. Planned by Champagne & Macarons and captured by Shotlife Studio, the day balanced tradition with modern elegance at every turn.
The morning started at their family homes, a quiet, emotional beginning before a ceremony at St. Mary Armenian Church that honoured heritage and set a beautiful tone for the evening ahead.
Portraits with an Architectural Edge
After the ceremony, Christine and Raffi headed to Vaughan City Hall for portraits. The clean lines and symmetry of the space gave the images a modern, editorial quality that contrasted beautifully with the warmth of the day. It was a smart creative choice that added real depth to the visual story.
A Candlelit Ballroom Transformed
The reception at Venetian Banquet Centre brought everything together. The room was layered with cascading florals by Weddings by Ardenian, hundreds of candles, and soft ambient lighting that gave the ballroom a warm, golden glow. The tablescape mixed classic and contemporary details, with textured linens, crystal, and lush centrepieces that felt elevated without being overdone. A custom white dance floor anchored the space, and every design choice felt intentional and cohesive.
A Celebration Worth Remembering
