White Lotus Fans: This Sicilian-inspired wedding editorial (complete with a secret garden nook, tiled motifs, decadent Dolce & Gabbana favors, and subtle use of Sicily’s trademark oranges throughout) is designed to transport you straight to Italy!
“We often see throughout Italy and more specifically, Sicily, the use of different colors, designs, and architectural styles all in one space,” says event planner Vanessa Molella of Vanessa Victoria Weddings. “Many of the set designs in White Lotus also emphasized ornately designed spaces rich in color and pattern. I really wanted our florals to emulate the lush and dreamy gardens of many Italian villas, like the gorgeous one we saw in Noto, Sicily in White Lotus. Thus, I brought in a marble guest table and Wild Theory Floral & Event Design adorned the table with beautiful, colorful florals in large urns as well as stone and ceramic vases of varying heights and styles.”
