Château de Ferrières, situated in Ferrières-en-Brie in the Seine-et-Marne department of France (about thirty minutes away from Paris), is the dreamy backdrop for this beautifully styled shoot. The Chateau was commissioned by Baron James de Rothschild of the influential Rothschild banking dynasty in 1855 and was designed by the renowned English architect Joseph Paxton, also the mind behind London’s Crystal Palace. This grand edifice is nestled within a vast park blending English and French garden designs. While the Rothschilds no longer reside there, the château, donated to the University of Paris in the late 20th century, is an extraordinary venue for destination weddings in France. “With a desire to highlight French elegance and savoir-faire in an editorial style, this wedding inspiration session is colorimetrically adapted to each space,” explains event planner Sandrine Rosette of Organsa Wedding Planner Paris.
