Bianca and Mark have been together since high school. In 2017, the pair had just moved into their first home and were setting up their furniture. “After we finished moving the last piece, Mark told me he had a surprise and to cover my eyes,” remembers Bianca. When I opened them, he was standing in front of me with a ring box and that’s when he went down on one knee.”

The couple was married on September 19, 2020. At the time, they had a very small reception due to Covid-19 restrictions. Once things began to open up almost a year later, the couple hosted two events in one to make up for canceled events; a Parisian-themed bridal shower that also doubled as a belated wedding after-party. (The bridal shower had been postponed four times, and went through a venue change!)

The event was held at Château le Parc. Michelle Garber of FAB FÊTE PLANNING BOUTIQUE From an intimate affair to a fabulous fête. We are an award-winning event planning boutique. Let... More | Message provided full-service planning and design assistance.

So Pretty In Print created all the stationery for the occasion, incorporating soft pinks with hints of black and gold. A blackboard-style seating chart featured a custom illustration of Bianca, tying in with the high fashion vibes.

The reception space at Château le Parc was transformed to look like a chic Parisian street surrounded by a beautiful garden. FLOWERS TIME provided floral and event design. Custom structures by Engineered Arts .
Pink brick-patterned vinyl was applied to the walls, and a striking black and white floor design set the mood. EVENT GRAFFITI We take printed decor to the next level. To further emulate Paris, “shop” windows with black and white awnings were custom manufactured and installed by Engineered Arts . Black streetlamps with candles were placed beside each window.
"We wanted the ladies attending the shower to feel like they were being transported to the streets of Paris where they could get a bouquet of flowers, perfume, and illustrations" – Bianca, BRIDE

The large black and white floor stripes were also applied to the 12ft long bar creating a chic and continuous look. Each of Bianca’s bridal shower guests received a dessert box, custom perfume, a personalized fashion illustration, and a bouquet of flowers via experiential activations and stations placed around the room. Once Mark arrived, the after-party got into full swing with entertainment by Saturday Night Jive.
