High-end jewelry designer and Paris Fashion Week’s rising star, Nigora Tabayer and Justin Chen are married! The happy couple recited their vows in front of 60 family and friends and 25 thousand white roses at Villa Balbiano in Lake Como. The intimate ceremony was the culmination of a weekend that was all about elegance and statement style, in a setting straight out of a fairytale, with a stunning wedding wardrobe -the highlight of which was the bride’s two head-to-toe Dior looks!
“We delivered a customized welcome bag in a very elegant box covered in light gray linen with a welcome letter from us, the wedding weekend program, a tailored Lake Como guide, Italian Spritz and orange juice, a fan, and a beautiful power bank with a customized ‘Como Lake Italy’ label,” shares the bride.
Nigora knew she wanted a look that would be equal parts romantic and iconic, and ultimately turned to Dior’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, to create two dream dresses for her and advise on Justin’s head-to-toe Dior look.
A mirrored aisle completely covered the 75-meter-long fountain with roses on each side. Large rose-filled urns were also placed on the outer sides of the aisle for an opulent touch.
Before dinner, the bride made her first change by removing the veil and the silk overskirt, revealing a lace evening dress.
A marquee of 270sqm with geometric shapes on the ceiling was created to host the reception. Mirror finishes, large crystal chandeliers, thousands of white roses and muted colored tablecloths completed the decoration. In command of the kitchen was the exclusive VIP chef, Federico Salza, who created the menu for George and Amal Clooney’s wedding.
For the reception, the bride changed into a romantic, ruffled blush Hollywood-style gown, also created with the signature Dior flair.
The couple and their guests continued dancing until late to the sound of Cee Lo Green, who also came to Lake Como exclusively for Nigora and Justin’s wedding.
