In the house's third ready-to-wear bridal collection since its launch a year ago, Elie Saab continues to interpret his couture gowns for the contemporary bride. Inspired by a blooming garden filled with cherry blossoms, the thirteen looks presented range from a wide-leg jumpsuit to a hooded cape veil, to more classic, grand ballgowns. In addition to the gowns, this season includes accessories, such as sparkling, dancefloor-ready footwear, and jewellery including cuffs, rings and earrings, all bearing the label's signature "Oui."
For Spring 2018, the new collection from Galia Lahav entitled "Victorian Affinity" was a true departure for the brand known for their sexy, curve-hugging gowns. While the bombshell factor remained, this season, the label's head designer Sharon Sever explored new silhouettes, including full, princess skirts, and historical-inspired full sleeves and bustled trains, with new fabrications, including one shimmering material made with real hammered sterling silver!
With delicate, embellished gowns featuring soft tiers and embroidered florals, the Pre-Fall collection from Needle & Thread would make the perfect source of gown inspiration for bridesmaids, black tie wedding attendees, and even brides-to-be themselves.
With couture wedding gowns that would be as fitting for the red carpet as they are for walking down the aisle, the 2017 collection from Dana Harel is the perfect choice for the fashionable bride inspired by Dior's recent couture collections or for the glamazon hoping to apply her personal style to her wedding day look.
