We’re major Kate Spade New York fans here at WedLuxe so, needless to say, we were thrilled when this styled shoot inspired by the brand came our way. The photo shoot features eye-catching accessories the brand has become synonymous with, including the classic (and oh-so-glittery!) Kate Spade “charm” heels and a hot pink statement necklace that pairs perfectly with a Christopher Paunil tea-length dress from Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay.

Our team was completely smitten with the playful mix of patterns in the table design and the bright floral displays from Caprice Design & Decor. The charming shoot might inspire you to add some pops of colour into your bridal shower or wedding day —or in the very least serve as a reminder to live colourfully and always keep an ace up your sleeve! Make My Day Count was the Creative Director/Producer behind the shoot, and Corina V. Photography captured all of the details.

Houndstooth

One of the looks from New York Fashion Week that we haven't been able to get out of our minds is the black houndstooth printed ball gown from Carolina Herrera's Fall 2015 show (shown above). While houndstooth isn't a pattern that would normally scream "evening wear," after a bit of digging, we found luxe houndstooth black tie options featured everywhere from Christian Dior Couture to Givenchy — whose Fall 2009 Couture closing look was a houndstooth printed wedding gown! While you might not want to feature the print on your gown, incorporating it in your stationery, cake or even the groom-to-be's bow tie are a great way to add some fun texture to your wedding day.

We’re thrilled to share Danielle and Mark’s awe-inspiring wedding, captured by 5ive15ifteen Photo Company. Melissa Haggerty of SpectacularSpectacular provided full-service planning for the event that took place at the Royal Ontario Museum. Bill Fulghum of William Fulghum Design Associates provided full-service design management for the occasion. From the custom stationery and a one-of-a-kind hand-painted chuppah by PALETTERA Custom Correspondences to the beautiful fabrics sourced by Bill Fulghum, we love the unique and ultra-luxe design details from this wedding.
