Set against the cinematic beauty of the Venetian lagoon, Samantha and Jack’s luxury wedding in Venice at Belmond Hotel Cipriani unfolded as an intimate, beautifully curated celebration rooted in elegance, atmosphere, and intention. From the very beginning, the couple envisioned a wedding experience that felt deeply connected to the romance of Venice itself – timeless yet contemporary, refined yet warm. The result was a luxury wedding in Venice at Belmond Hotel Cipriani that embraced understated sophistication through layered textures, thoughtful details, and immersive guest experiences.
The ceremony took place in the hotel’s enchanting Casanova gardens, where soft afternoon light filtered through lush greenery as a classical string quartet performed a Bridgerton-inspired repertoire. Sunflowers – chosen for their personal meaning to the bride — became the poetic thread woven throughout the design story, subtly reflected in the floral compositions and delicate gown details. As evening settled over the lagoon, guests transitioned into the elegant Granai interiors for a candlelit dinner layered with live music, rich textures, and a warm, atmospheric glow. Thoughtful experiential moments – including a mentalist magician, curated cigar corner, and traditional Venetian masks for the after-party — added depth and personality to the celebration while honoring the spirit of the city. Even the sculptural bow-adorned wedding cake felt more like an art piece than dessert.
