, the weekend was thoughtfully curated to feel intimate, layered, and deeply connected to the season – hallmarks of a truly memorable Heckfield Place winter wedding.
Festivities began with a traditional afternoon tea, welcoming guests with seasonal flavours before transitioning into a relaxed family-style dinner at Hearth, the estate’s open-fire restaurant. The warm, informal atmosphere set the tone for a weekend that balanced elegance with ease. On the wedding day, guests embraced the full countryside experience—enjoying yoga, Pilates, estate tours, and even clay pigeon shooting before gathering for the ceremony. Inside Marle, a soft winter meadow installation transformed the space, with textured florals and natural foliage surrounding guests in an immersive setting that defined the aesthetic of this Heckfield Place winter wedding.
The ceremony featured a meaningful hand-fasting ritual, adding a personal and symbolic moment before guests moved into the house lounges for cocktails. As dusk settled, everyone made a candlelit walk to dinner, where a dramatic serpentine table twisted through the room, flanked by towering trees whose branches arched overhead.
