wedding was a study in timeless sophistication with a contemporary edge. The couple, both design enthusiasts, chose the AGO for its striking mix of modern minimalism and artistic grandeur—an ideal canvas for their black-tie celebration that seamlessly merged classic romance with bold, moody accents.
Their ceremony took place in the luminous Walker Court, where the soft glow of white and amber tones enveloped guests in an atmosphere of quiet reverence and warmth. Beneath the gallery’s soaring wood-and-glass architecture, Emma and Jason exchanged vows surrounded by lush floral arrangements in romantic shades of blush, pink, and burgundy—tones that perfectly balanced elegance with modern depth.
Following cocktails and canapés in the Galleria Italia, guests transitioned to Baillie Court for a reception that brought the couple’s Art Gallery of Ontario wedding vision to life in spectacular fashion. The sleek, contemporary space was transformed into a vibrant, candlelit ballroom, complete with a live band, a packed dance floor, and a color palette that carried through from ceremony to soirée. Every detail, from the ambient lighting to the floral textures, was designed to highlight the AGO’s stunning architectural features while creating an inviting, celebratory mood.
Throughout the day, the couple explored the gallery’s many galleries and staircases for portraits that felt effortlessly editorial – each image capturing the interplay between love, light, and art. More than just a venue, the AGO proved to be an unforgettable setting for a luxury wedding defined by design and emotion.
