, achieved just that – and then some. The Grand Ballroom was transformed into a cinematic dreamscape of monochrome glamour, where every detail was elevated to editorial-level perfection.
The couple’s design brief centered around a high-contrast palette and dramatic styling, resulting in a sleek black-and-white setting that felt both avant-garde and timeless. Think: black velvet draping, a glossy mirror-black floor, and sculptural white floral installations cascading down banquet tables like works of art. The JW Marriott Parq space shimmered with candlelight reflected through crystal stemware, floating towers, and glass layers—moody yet luminous, modern yet romantic.
Guests entered to find a custom U-shaped floor plan that embraced the dance floor as the heartbeat of the room. The grand head table, perched on a stage, was framed by two sweeping curved tables that evoked the energy of an intimate gala or private concert. And the couple’s entrance? Iconic. Sheer curtains parted slowly as Cindy and Pankey stepped through a veil of low-lying fog, accompanied by a live acoustic rendition of their love song.
A curated lighting rig added a crisp architectural glow, while mirrored surfaces and ghost chairs offered a futuristic edge to the overall ambiance. The evening unfolded with a reimagined Chinese banquet, where traditional dishes were presented with artful modernity and paired with premium spirits. A surprise lion dance set to EDM electrified the crowd, blending heritage with high-energy spectacle.
