But before they said “I do” beneath the glittering chandeliers of Casa Loma, Ashkan planned a proposal as breathtaking as their love story. During a romantic getaway in Santorini, Greece, the couple had arranged a photoshoot to capture the magic of their trip—unaware that Ashkan had something far more unforgettable in store. As they wandered through the narrow, cobblestone streets of Oia, the photographer guided them through various scenic spots, capturing their candid laughter and quiet moments together. When they reached a stunning cliffside overlooking the Aegean Sea, the photographer suggested one final pose. With the sun setting behind them, Ashkan took Paniz’s hand, his heart racing, and asked her to turn towards him. As she did, she found him down on one knee, engagement ring in hand, ready to ask the question that would change their lives forever.

Towering arrangements of calla lilies, roses, and orchids cascaded throughout the space, creating a breathtakingly romantic atmosphere. Flickering candlelight danced across mirrored surfaces, from the dazzling seating chart to intricate mirrored stationery, seamlessly weaving together a theme of elegance and reflection.
Their ceremony, made even more special with the presence of guest officiant (San Diego news anchor Shally Zomorodi), who exuded warmth and intimacy, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable celebration. As the evening progressed, guests filled the mirrored dance floor, reveling in a night of pure joy and festivity. Every detail, from the lavish floral arrangements to the soft glow of candlelit tables, ensured that love and romance remained the focal point of the celebration.
