For their vows, the couple chose the historic Armenian Catholic Church of San Lazzaro, a location deeply meaningful to Lucy, as it was gifted to Armenian monks by the Venetians centuries ago. She made a grand entrance in a classic wooden water taxi, her custom cathedral-length veil embroidered with the couple’s names and wedding date trailing behind her. Their traditional Armenian ceremony included the crowning of the bride and groom and a symbolic wine blessing, making it an incredibly heartfelt moment.
Following the ceremony, Lucy and Mark made a dramatic arrival at their reception at the Ca’ Marcello villa in a vintage Porsche Boxster, greeted by their guests in the lush Italian gardens. As the sun set, they popped champagne at the villa’s fountain before leading everyone inside the grand ballroom for a candlelit dinner under frescoed ceilings.
