The glamorous reception featured flowing fabrics, glittering chandeliers, and dramatic lighting that transformed the space into a wonderland. Thoughtful cultural touches and dynamic entertainment captivated their 500 guests, while Jennifer wowed in multiple fashion looks. The entire celebration was a stunning fusion of heritage and creativity, leaving an indelible impression on everyone in attendance.
Jennifer and Jeffrey’s love story began during the pandemic when a mutual friend introduced them. They first connected over FaceTime while Jeffrey was living in India. Eventually, he decided to move to Toronto to complete school and be closer to Jennifer. When they finally met in person, it didn’t take long for their connection to deepen. Two years later, Jeffrey proposed at Federick’s Restaurant, surrounded by close family. The moment was especially meaningful as Jennifer’s late father built the iconic Hakka chain, making the restaurant a cherished part of her family’s legacy.

The lighting design—including custom pin lighting and dramatic stage effects—enhanced the captivating ambiance, perfectly complementing the decor.
The evening was filled with incredible food, including unlimited stations and a decadent 10-course meal, as well as a dynamic entertainment lineup. Performances ranged from live music to cultural dances, including a lion dance by Wushu Project. A choreographed dance by Jeffrey and his groomsmen was a crowd favourite. As a thoughtful finale, guests visited a custom bloom bar, where they could wrap floral arrangements into bouquets to take home—an elegant and memorable end to an unforgettable celebration.
Jennifer and Jeffrey currently reside in Toronto. After their wedding, the couple embarked on a romantic honeymoon in Honolulu, Hawaii, where they spent their days exploring scenic hikes, relaxing on pristine beaches, and hunting for the best poke bowls. The trip was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, marking the start of their new journey together as husband and wife.
