Sabrina Perfetto and Sam Parisi’s love story is one for the ages. The couple first met at just 11 years old at school. They quickly became friends and even shared the honour of being co-valedictorians in Grade 8. However, it wasn’t until their final year of high school, during a leadership class, that their bond deepened, and they began dating. Early in their relationship, they chose their future wedding date—August 24, 2024—long before Sam officially proposed. When the time came, Sam surprised Sabrina with a picnic proposal on the picturesque grounds of McMichael Art Gallery in Kleinburg, Ontario.
With Sabrina’s sister Vanessa at the helm of planning, guests at the wedding were treated to a thoughtfully curated experience from start to finish. “Planning my sister’s wedding was incredibly special,” shares Vanessa. “Knowing her vision and being able to bring it to life with touches that felt truly unique to her and Sam made it a day neither of us will forget.”
The wedding ceremony was held atSt. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Woodbridge, followed by an al fresco luncheon at the bride’s family estate, where a clear-top tent over the pool and additional tenting on the lawn provided comfortable spaces to mingle. The tents and tent flooring were provided by

created vibrant wildflower arrangements in stone compotes and julep vases, bringing a garden-like ambiance to the space. The standout element was the head table backdrop, with glowing chandeliers and cascading greenery.
THE LOOKS
Sabrina wore a Lee Petra Grebenau gown from Powder Bridal in Toronto. The dress was modified to feature a strapless sweetheart neckline, with floral appliqués from the gown incorporated into her veil. She also wore a sentimental tennis bracelet gifted by Sam’s father when they got engaged.
Sam wore two custom looks. For the ceremony, he chose a double-breasted suit jacket, and for the evening, a white dinner jacket featuring a subtle floral motif that perfectly complemented the wedding’s aesthetic. His outfits included thoughtful personal touches, such as a flamingo-print lining in his day jacket—referencing a special sweater he once designed for Sabrina—and his name embroidered on the collar. Sam also wore anOmega Aqua Terra watch, a white gold bracelet from Sabrina’s parents, and a lapel pin with a photo of him and his late mother.
Later in the evening, Sabrina switched from Jimmy Choo heels to custom Nike Air Force sneakers, a gift from her siblings, embellished with pearls, jewels, and the wedding date.
