, was the ultimate mash-up of Harry Potter magic and Great Gatsby glam. Held at Three Feathers Terrace in Lefroy, Ontario, the day reflected the couple’s shared love of enchantment and elegance. From the custom acrylic invitations shaped like Hogwarts doors to the handcrafted “Golden Snitch” place cards, every detail brought the magic to life. Even the reception tables were styled after the four Hogwarts houses, while a Dumbledore-inspired wedding cake ensured this whimsical celebration was nothing short of spellbinding.
Nicole and Edward first met at a hometown gathering in Canada, even though they had grown up in the same city in China. It didn’t take long for them to connect, and six months later, they went on their first date, starting a relationship built on shared roots and new beginnings.
On Valentine’s Day in 2021, Edward surprised Nicole with a heartfelt proposal surrounded by their close friends.

to bring their vision to life. Held on August 10, 2023, at the picturesque Three Feathers Terrace in Lefroy, Ontario, their celebration was a stunning blend of elegance and enchantment.
Nicole wore two show-stopping looks: an off-white Vera Wang gown for the ceremony and a custom gold-and-champagne Chinese Qipao by Luo San Cai, reflecting the Great Gatsby-inspired glamour of the evening. Edward looked equally dashing in a sleek black double-breasted Tom Ford suit. With a Harry Potter-inspired purple and gold colour palette woven throughout the day, their wedding perfectly captured the couple’s shared love of magic and sophistication.
A true showstopper, the wedding cake was a confectionery masterpiece inspired by Professor Dumbledore’s office. With intricate details and a design that perfectly complemented the wedding’s magical theme, it stood as a centerpiece of the reception and left guests marveling at its spellbinding beauty.
As the celebration moved into the main reception, the decor stole the show. The head table, draped in luxurious linens and adorned with cascading florals in deep purple and gold by Infinitude Design, served as the focal point of the room. Four long tables, each representing a Hogwarts house, brought a playful and personal touch to the elegant setup. Later in the evening, a vibrant Lion Dance by Wushu Project electrified the crowd, marking the transition to a night filled with dancing and celebration. Every element of the evening reflected Nicole and Edward’s unique style and love for combining magic with sophistication.
