As the evening reached its peak, Mona captivated everyone with a surprise outfit change and a bold, daring haircut. This was more than a wedding—it was a carefully curated celebration of style, creativity, and love, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
Mona and Daniel’s story began the summer after Mona graduated high school. One evening, while out with friends, Mona met Dan in a parking lot where their cars were parked side by side. Dan noticed Mona sitting in the back seat and felt an instant spark. That seemingly random encounter sparked a bond that grew stronger over time as they supported each other through life’s highs and lows.
After six years of dating, Dan proposed on his birthday, making it unforgettable for both. Mona had planned a celebration in downtown Toronto, so Dan’s booking of a hotel room didn’t raise suspicions. But when Mona walked in to drop off her overnight bag, she was met with a romantic surprise: candles, flowers, balloons, and giant letters spelling out “Marry Me.” Joined by close friends, the proposal was intimate yet joyfully shared, marking the start of their next chapter.
The couple were married on August 31, 2024, at Hotel X Toronto. The ceremony featured a Sofreh created by event planner Edesa Doman of Petals and Pearls, with ethereal floral arrangements from COCO by Covers Couture.

The reception continued the sophisticated theme set during the ceremony, with a color palette of black, white, and nude. COCO by Covers Couture crafted custom floral boxes that filled the venue. The crisp, tailored centerpieces created an immersive, modern setting. A standout feature was the head table, illuminated by custom chandeliers.
STYLISH SURPRISES
Guests at Mona and Daniel’s wedding were treated to a thoughtfully curated experience from start to finish.
Entertainment included dynamic live performances by a violinist and drummers, creating an energetic atmosphere. A cozy lounge area near the dance floor provided a perfect space to relax between dances. Later in the evening, Mona surprised guests with an outfit change into a short, ballerina-style dress by Bronx and Banco, along with a bold new haircut! The night concluded with dancing and celebrations, leaving guests with unforgettable memories of a beautifully designed and meticulously planned event.
