Actress Cristine Prosperi and NHL Goalie Jordan Binnington met as teenagers within the same circle of friends. Over the years, each pursued their own dreams in the U.S., but kept in touch during summer visits to Toronto. Their friendship eventually blossomed into romance when the couple were in their mid-20s. Four years into their relationship, on a memorable evening after dining at Jacob’s Steakhouse, Jordan brought Cristine back to his first condo on Richmond Street West in Toronto, where their romance had begun. Following their dinner, during a leisurely walk, Jordan proposed to Cristine right in the middle of the street under a red light in front of their old apartment building.

The colour palette was soft and understated to complement the natural beauty of the greenery and outdoor scenery, while textures like wood, stone and linen helped to create the feeling of bringing the outdoors in.
Cristine and Jordan’s wedding reception was a vibrant celebration, a grand fusion of Greek, Italian, and Canadian traditions, bringing together 334 guests in an electric atmosphere. From the very start, the evening buzzed with energy, as attendees danced to the enchanting sounds of a live Greek Bouzouki player during the cocktail hour. The festive spirit continued with a four-piece Motown-style group serenading the diners, prompting everyone to rise from their seats and dance amidst the tables. As dinner gave way to dancing, a saxophonist infused the venue with Mykonos vibes during the DJ set, maintaining the high spirits. The culmination of this remarkable night was a spectacular firework display that lit up the sky. Family, friends, and many from Jordan’s hockey circle, who flew in especially for the occasion, joined in the jubilation, making it an unforgettable celebration of love and joy.
