Karina, of Russian and Korean descent from Kazakhstan, and George, a Toronto native with Greek roots, found in each other true soulmates despite their diverse backgrounds. Their journey of love led them to a magical proposal at Italy’s Lake Como, where George surprised Karina with a dreamy pavé diamond ring from Tiffany & Co. amidst the stunning backdrop of Villa Balbianello, perfectly capturing the essence of their enchanting love story. The couple’s dream of being married outdoors, surrounded by natural splendor and expansive skies, led them to choose The Quad at Hart House. “As the wedding day approached, concerns about Toronto’s unpredictable weather lingered in our minds,” explains George. “However, fortune smiled upon us, and the sun graced our special day with its radiant presence. It was a day of sunshine, more breathtaking than we had ever envisioned.”
