Bride and groom Shivangi and Rishi first met at a mutual friend’s house in Dublin, Ireland while they were both studying in England, and after eight years of dating, Rishi proposed with an oval-cut engagement ring by Queensmith. Originally, he’d intended to propose in the Maldives, but when Covid-19 called for a change of plans, he decorated the back garden of his home in London’s Camden Town for the occasion. “It ended up being even more special and sentimental,” shares Rishi.
The design of Shivangi and Rishi’s wedding was twofold: the wedding day followed an English garden theme with a “something blue” color palette, while the reception was inspired by ballet, featuring entertainment provided by a troupe of ballerinas, and the bride dressed to resemble a black swan in a gown you won’t want to miss!
