Both teachers by profession, Ola and Jaelin taught at the same high school in 2018. Their eyes met during the first staff meeting of the year and an instant connection sparked. After some months of shared lunch breaks (finding any excuse to see one another!) Jaelin asked Ola out on a date. “…We clicked on all different levels.” shares Ola. “We didn’t want the night to end, but had to head home since it was a school night.”
Jaelin proposed to Ola on August 2nd, 2020, at a sunset viewpoint in Lisbon, Portugal, while onlookers cheered and a professional photographer captured the moment.
The couple’s intimate “I Dos” took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Toronto, Canada, on August 6th, 2022, followed by a fairytale garden reception at
