When Christopher met Emily at a bar in downtown Toronto in 2015, it was love at first sight — on their first official date he even told her he’d found the girl he was going to marry! Being that they were young (and thinking it might have been a line!) Emily brushed him off, but sure enough, they returned to the same place five years later, and Christopher proposed!
The couple was married June 25th, 2022, at a private estate, and the ceremony was followed by a reception at The Arlington Estate. Event planning and design for the wedding was provided by Vanessa Victoria Weddings & Events, who incorporated a Rococo flair into the modern garden party-themed wedding, inspired by the organic greenery and colour palette of Emily’s favourite painting, The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
