Angelica and Theodore first met at a party in 2017 but it wasn’t until later in the year that they began a friendship over social media. DMs were quickly exchanged when they each discovered that Theodore had hired Angelica’s sister for a position at the bank where he worked, not knowing who she was. Acting on a sisterly hunch (and guided by several hints dropped by Theodore!), Natasha arranged a double date and the rest is history!
When lockdowns cancelled Theodore’s plans for a destination proposal in Italy, he teamed up with Angelica’s mother and sister Natasha (naturally!) to organize a surprise proposal at her parent’s home. The new plan required a long leisurely afternoon patio lunch date on a patio, while Angelica’s family worked behind the scenes to set up a proposal scene worthy of Theodore’s vision. After lunch, the couple made their way to the house for what Angelica was expecting to be a casual evening with family. They arrived to find a pathway of mason jars lit up with glowing candles leading to a romantic backyard picnic complete with champagne, roses, a photo garland, and the couple’s initials in marquee letters. Angelica’s family watched from the house as Theodore got down on one knee and proposed to the tune of their song, “Say You Won’t Let Go,” by James Arthur. Close friends and family arrived shortly afterwards to join in the couple’s engagement celebration.

happens to be one of Angelica’s best friends and provided full-service event planning and design for the couple’s wedding. “…I cannot thank her enough for planning the wedding of my dreams,” expressed Angelica.
The “Winter White” themed event took place on February 26, 2022, in Toronto, Ontario, and was full of silver and white details. The element of celebration was as important to Angelica and Theodore as the decor design, so there was no shortage of good food, music, and entertainment throughout the evening.
