ABOUT THE BELLA ROSA COLLECTION
In 1952, Maria Caruso-Martin – Founder of The Bella Rosa Collection – lost her grandmother when an American Airline plane crashed into her father’s family home. The only surviving possession amongst the rubble was her grandmother’s handbag with a single letter inside – one that had been written in 1919 by Maria’s grandfather. In the letter, her grandfather asks Maria’s grandmother to await his return from service in the Italian army, so they could marry. Maria’s grandmother carried this letter in her handbag every day of her life.
Amidst great loss, a true love story endures, inspiring Maria to create The Bella Rosa Collection, a bespoke handbag collection that offers brides and fashionable women a luxury, tailored experience to design a one-of-a-kind handbag for their treasured love notes or keepsakes.
