Melissa and Chris’ big day will certainly have us remembering the 21st night of September! With the Earth, Wind, and Fire song in mind, Melissa (owner of MelMarie events) planned a day that best represented them as a couple. Taking inspiration from their past travels, the decor included trendy, modern touches mixed with lush, tropical earthiness. Melissa wore a Reem Acra gown with intricate lace detailing over a sand-coloured, pure silk underlay.

Melissa, the bride, was also the planner for her wedding. She described the reception decor as “classic meets bold.” The clean lines and earth-tone colour scheme made for a timeless feel, while the pampas grass in front of the head table added a unique touch.
