As seen in the Fall 2020 Vancouver Edition of WedLuxe Magazine, Melissa and Matthew had a winter wonderland extravaganza, highlighted by two 8-ft clouds of orchids and fourteen crystal hoops hanging from the ceiling! The newlyweds got to dine in luxury as one statement crystal and an orchid chandelier was placed in the centre of the circular head table. Surrounding the room hung 500 feet of romantic white draping from Debut Event Design, and swirling Gobo lights added a whimsical blizzard-like effect. A 24-ft chrome dance floor complimented the crystal theme.

“My most memorable moment was opening the doors to the church and seeing my fiancรฉ at the ceremony. A close second was walking down the aisle with my dad and him giving me away. It was a very emotional, special moment for us and something I will never forget.” – Melissa

“We created a winter wonderland in the foyer with white draping, string lights, and frosted white trees. A champagne tower greeted guests as they entered the reception area.” – Elisa Fabiano of Elegance Event Planning.

Eight clear acrylic plinths were used for the seating chart of 430 guests, to appear as if the structure was floating. Translucent menus were also placed on each table, further evoking the crystal theme.

My vision was for everything to be crystal, white, and silver. I wanted to walk in and feel like I was in a winter wonderland.

- Melissa

“The goal of the cake was to make it appear as if it was floating and had icicles.” – Melissa
