Valentino Haute Couture just took our breath away (but what else is new?!) Debuting their Fall/Winter 2020/2021 collection, the presentation began with a pre-recorded mini film dubbed “Of Grace and Light,” followed by an intimate runway show unlike any other. As curtains drew back, it revealed 12-ft tall models, standing on ladders hidden underneath exaggerated skirts or on aerial swings. While a select few were in attendance, many others joined in virtually from around the globe. Creative director of the brand, Pierpaolo Piccioli and famed photographer Nick Knight, collaborated on the cinematic experience and told Vogue they wanted to challenge the lockdown experience. “I didn’t want to feel the limitations. Couture is made for emotions, dreams,” revealed Piccioli. “It was super-emotional for us all to be here together to win this challenge. A moment I will never forget.” Keep scrolling for more jaw-dropping moments!
