At her Garden Party in the Park-themed Fall 2019 bridal presentation, Lela Rose revealed a collection of gowns that takes the traditional bridal uniform for a modern-day spin. While cocktails and Dominique Ansel pastries were passed, guests enjoyed taking in a fresh array of gowns for the season ahead.
New York Fashion Week has ended and we're still in awe of all the trends we'll be loving in Spring 2015. We have selected six looks from the week for a black tie affair.
Metallics found their way onto a few runways this season. For those who like to stand out, Lela Rose delivered a gown with a golden brush stroke effect, Oscar de la Renta went for feather embellishments and a daring crop top, and Monique Lhuillier's semi-transparent skirt was covered in golden leaves and white florals.
If you're looking for a classic black tie ensemble, the full skirts at multiple shows proved the staple is alive and well. Zac Posen paired a structured floor grazing skirt with an off-the-shoulder sleeve, another popular trend. Christian Siriano and Jenny Packham both used fabrics with shine. The former used a crisp white and blue and the latter went for a rich chocolate hue.
