WedLuxe, a luxury wedding media brand, and division of Cloud Nine Creative Agency, is looking for a savvy, creative, and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team. You will maintain and grow our active social media audience across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & LinkedIn; driving traffic and awareness to WedLuxe digital, email, and print magazine platforms with the larger goal of promoting our clients, contributors, and WedLuxe event activations. You’ll also manage several client accounts. Our ideal candidate has a healthy obsession with all things related to weddings, design of all kinds including floral, interior, fashion, etc, AND has a love of travel and pop culture! Our dream candidate will be a natural trend-spotter with above-average writing ability who can curate INCREDIBLE images that meet our brand aesthetic. Research and analytics are also a big part of this job. Time management skills, creativity, and a healthy obsession to increase our viewership, engagement and follower count are paramount.

• You always have lots of ideas!
• You are ‘in the know’ on ALL the latest entertainment buzz including what celeb couples just got ENGAGED or just tied the knot. You could also describe WHAT were they wearing! You could easily rhyme off the differences between Gabriel and Alfie (HELLO: Emily in Paris IS on your watchlist after all), sharing a recap of a red-carpet “best and worst dressed list” would be something you could do in your sleep, and NATURALLY, you could recap the latest episode of Bridgerton.

• You’re not afraid to get IN FRONT of the camera to talk trends or say hello to our followersDAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage a robust social media content calendar ensuring successful DAILY posts of amazing content across multiple @WedLuxe social media accounts and platforms – primarily INSTAGRAM followed by Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn. YouTube and TikTok are on our radar, too!
• Ensure posts are optimized for performance with appropriate hashtags/credits etc
• Own community management, responding to comments & actively engaging with contributors, readers, and influencers at all times
• Analyze and track data regularly to provide ROI and benchmarks while quickly providing strategies to address content initiatives or traffic concerns
• Integrate editorial content with advertorials, takeovers, marketing initiatives, etc.
• Work with designer and content coordinator on social media deliverables
• Collaborate with sales and design teams to ideate, launch, and deliver paid partnerships across social platforms
• Find and maintain relationships with content partners and social platform managers to increase partnership opportunities
• Working with the design team and project/marketing manager, use social media to actively market our own brand and initiatives on all of our channels.
• Attend and cover relevant events including fashion shoots, events, etc on Instagram stories, live videos, and interviews. Travel may be required.
• Share marketing deliverables for WedLuxe event hosts, sponsors, and partners
• Regular competitor benchmarking and analysis

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent editorial judgment, writing skills, and ability to steward the WedLuxe brand voice and that of our clients
  • A passion for the luxury wedding industry and expert-level awareness of its key players will be expected after the first three months
  • A valid passport and willingness to travel or represent the WedLuxe brand at various events.
  • With this being a remote position we can offer you full flexibility on WHERE you work, but you MUST be willing to post on, and check the accounts after-hours and during weekends

COMPENSATION:

This position has a starting pay range of 40-50k per year. If you are offered a position with our company, your initial salary will be determined by a combination of factors. We reward great employees with raises and performance-based commissions once they’ve proven to be valuable and reliable team members.
