Social Media Manager

Office Location: Winter Park, Florida or REMOTE (USA) – Remote workers must be willing to travel internationally on a valid passport

WedLuxe, a luxury wedding media company is looking for a savvy, creative, and strategic Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our team. You will maintain and grow our very active social media audience across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, & LinkedIn; driving traffic and awareness to WedLuxe digital, email, print, and event platforms with the larger goal of promoting our clients and contributors. 

Our ideal candidate has a healthy obsession with all things related to weddings, design (think floral, interior, fashion, etc) along with a love for travel and pop culture. The successful candidate will be a trend-spotter with above-average writing ability and can curate great images. Driving viewership, engagement and follower count is a paramount skill set.

This position will report directly to the editor-in-chief, and will also work closely with our digital designers, sales manager, and project manager.

To succeed in the role:

• You are a visual curator with a love for weddings, fashion, design, flowers, beauty, travel, trend-spotting, and beautiful things
• You are an engaging, confident writer with impeccable grammar and spelling. (Typos are an absolute no-no in our business!)
• You have a healthy obsession with social media
• You always have lots of ideas!
• You can manage many deadlines and assignments because you’re extremely organized.
• You emanate positive energy and love dealing directly with people!
• You naturally take excellent care of your clients and colleagues.
• You are a self-starter and enjoy working with minimal supervision


• Manage daily posting of content across multiple social media accounts and platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn.
• Ensure posts are optimized for performance with appropriate hashtags/credits etc
• Own community management, responding to comments & actively engaging with contributors, readers, and influencers at all times
• Analyze and track data regularly to provide ROI and benchmarks while quickly providing strategies to address content initiatives or traffic concerns
• Maintain a robust weekly content calendar that includes integrating editorial content with advertorial, takeovers, marketing initiatives, etc.
• Review, respond to and organize incoming content
• Manage client assets and deadlines for paid social features and work with designers to create deliverables.
• Collaborate with sales and design teams to ideate, launch, and deliver paid partnerships across social platforms
• Find and maintain relationships with content partners and social platform managers to increase partnership opportunities
• Working with the design team and project/marketing manager, use social media to actively market our own brand and initiatives on all of our channels.
• Attend and cover relevant events including fashion shoots, events, etc on Instagram stories, live videos, and interviews. Travel may be required.
• Day-to-day client communication
• Manage marketing deliverables for WedLuxe event hosts, sponsors, and partners
• Regular competitor benchmarking and analysis
