For Alice, Villa Pizzo had always been the dream. Built in 1435 and steeped in history, the villa’s lakeside ceremony terrace offered a cinematic backdrop worthy of their love story. When they discovered that the only available Saturday in 2024 fell exactly on the anniversary of their engagement—two years to the day—it felt like destiny shaping their modern Lake Como wedding.
The weekend began at Grand Hotel Tremezzo with a vibrant Italian garden–inspired welcome dinner. Yellow striped linens, bold florals, and sun-drenched hues set a celebratory tone, introducing guests to the couple’s playful yet refined aesthetic. For the ceremony at Villa Pizzo, the palette softened into blush pinks, crisp whites, and fresh greenery, reflecting the timeless romance at the heart of this modern Lake Como wedding.
Alice walked down the aisle in an embellished Elie Saab gown, its sweeping train and veil adding couture drama against the glistening lake. A sleek bun and natural makeup allowed the craftsmanship of the gown to shine. Later, she changed into a custom silk slip dress by Silvia Astore, delicately finished with French lace—an understated yet striking choice for the reception.
The guest list included notable names from Los Angeles, international designers, and leaders from the global finance world, adding an air of cosmopolitan sophistication to the evening. Yet despite its high-profile attendees, the celebration remained deeply personal—a reflection of two people who simply love great food, music, and beautiful settings.
