, their vision evolved into an extraordinary two-day experience that perfectly captured the spirit of a luxury Rome destination wedding from start to finish.
The festivities began with a vibrant welcome celebration at Casina Valadier in Villa Borghese, designed around a “Met Gala: Celebrating Love” theme. Guests arrived to a striking scene of bold red draping, custom red furnishings, and fashion-forward moments that set the tone for a truly elevated luxury Rome destination wedding. A red carpet entrance complete with “paparazzi” became an unforgettable highlight, inviting guests to step into the spotlight and embrace the glamour of the evening.
On the wedding day, the couple honored both faith and tradition by hosting two ceremonies – first, a Catholic ceremony at the historic Santa Maria in Aracoeli in the heart of Rome, followed by a symbolic vow exchange at Villa Miani. The church was styled in soft white florals, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere that balanced beautifully with the more dramatic design elements of the villa celebration. Back at Villa Miani, the aesthetic unfolded in layered tones of deep purple, rich red, blush pink, and white, with orchids chosen as the signature bloom throughout this luxury Rome destination wedding.
One of the most breathtaking design features was a set of custom-made garden ceremony “petals,” standing over three metres tall. Handcrafted by a Milan-based artist and delivered to Rome just in time, they created a sculptural focal point unlike anything guests had seen before. The reception that followed was equally dynamic, filled with live performances, dancers, artists, a live band, and a Nigerian singer, all coming together to celebrate culture, love, and connection. As fireworks lit up the Roman sky, this luxury Rome destination wedding became a true reflection of Nonye and Chuck’s story – grand, joyful, and deeply personal, made possible through the thoughtful planning of Dream Weddings Europe.
