The day began at the couple’s home with an intimate traditional Chinese ceremony. Dressed in a custom red gown tailor-made in China, Vicky honoured her heritage in a moment filled with ritual and meaning. Following the ceremony, a convoy of fifty cars — led by the couple in a charming vintage vehicle — made its way through Prague to the historic Troja Château, setting the tone for what would become a truly cinematic luxury Prague wedding.
As guests arrived at the château, they were immersed in an interactive garden experience that balanced elegance with playfulness. Thoughtfully designed moments included herb and sauce stations inspired by Chinese tradition, a phone booth for recorded messages, and mirrored Polaroid installations that encouraged guests to engage with the celebration beyond the ceremony itself. Meanwhile, Vicky slipped inside the château for bridal portraits with her bridesmaids, capturing a quieter counterpoint to the lively atmosphere outdoors.
A symbolic ceremony officiated in Chinese followed, culminating in a show-stopping first kiss punctuated by perfectly timed pink fireworks — a detail Vicky had long dreamed of. Lunch was served immediately after, complete with a champagne tower moment and an Italian-style cake ritual where fruit and sugar were added before the first slice, blending yet another layer of cultural meaning into the day.
As evening fell, the celebration transitioned into its third act: a lavish traditional Chinese banquet for nearly 300 guests. With both families deeply rooted in the restaurant world, chefs curated regional delicacies from across China, paired with local spirits and lively performances.
