. From the moment guests arrived, they were transported to a world where the charm of Tuscany met the elegance of Canadian hospitality.
The ceremony unfolded at The Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, a venue chosen for its rich history and European allure. The church’s classic ambiance set the stage for a day filled with old-world romance. Langdon Hall’s Wooden Pavilion, transformed into a picturesque Italian vineyard setting, showcased Serena and Vince’s vision of an al fresco celebration. Adorned with lush florals, grapes, and figs, the space radiated the essence of the Tuscan countryside, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Serena, a gifted graphic designer, infused her artistic touch into every detail, from the bespoke wedding invitations crafted on handmade paper to her custom silk gown—a perfect blend of timeless elegance and dramatic flair. “I always envisioned something timeless with a little bit of drama,” Serena shared, reflecting on the day’s aesthetic. Her sister, Nadia of Nadia & Co~, created a stunning five-tier cake adorned with intricate Italian fresco designs and topped with an artichoke, seamlessly tying together the Tuscan-inspired wedding theme.
Vince’s custom olive-green suit and Serena’s grandmother’s black diamond ring added a layer of European sophistication. Their wedding was not just a celebration but a heartfelt expression of their shared passion for Italian culture. As Vince aptly put it, “Rather than going to Italy, let’s bring Italy to us!” Sincerely Yours Events turned this vision into a breathtaking reality, ensuring Serena and Vince’s Tuscan-inspired wedding was a true reflection of their love story and Italian heritage.
