Spring Bridal Trends 2024: AMSALE

Head Designer Michael Cho found inspiration for AMSALE’s Spring 2024 collection, “Earthen,” while observing photographer-turned-ceramicist Todd Marshard’s pottery in Paros, Greece.

“This season, our sculpted gowns are embellished with delicate techniques inspired by master potters,” Cho says. “We translated the ‘nature resist’ pottery technique—used by potters to apply floral designs to clay—into classical mending techniques that allowed us to hand mold floral embroideries to the gowns, achieving a more delicate and bespoke feel.”

The resulting collection of eleven gowns plus veils and accessories honour pottery’s architectural beauty across a variety of styles and silhouettes, “…All of which get the season’s porcelain finish.” adds Chief Creative Officer Sarah Swann.
