Stephanie and Christopher first met in their tenth-grade history class at age 16, and while Christopher may have been Stephanie’s high school crush, they didn’t pursue a romantic relationship until years later. The pair kept in touch after graduation and in 2011 Christopher asked Stephanie to his workplace’s Christmas party; six months after the party, they began dating officially.
Seven and a half years down the line, the couple were in New York City celebrating Stephanie’s 30th birthday. After tea at The Plaza , they took a carriage ride and stopped at Bow Bridge to take a walk. Christopher took Stephanie’s hands (for a photo, she thought!) then got down on one knee and proposed with a custom-designed engagement ring from Philips Jewellery! “I obviously cried and said YES! The easiest YES I have ever said.” shares Stephanie.
