For her Fall 2018 collection, Monique Lhuillier created each gown with today’s bride in mind. Streamlining some of her more over-the-top creations of the past was top priority, as was providing options for the modern girl who chooses her designs. Instead of showing gowns meant for the ceremony and for the reception separately, she offered overskirts and detachable sleeves to be removed for an entirely new look, as well as motorcycle jackets to be added for a cool-girl vibe later in the night.
For Bliss, Lhuillier’s diffusion line, new Fall 2018 styles capitalize on the successful gowns from past seasons of her core collection. Flutter sleeves, modern off-the-shoulder necklines and even a feathered topper add fashion-forward elements for the Bliss bride.
