The Omni King Edward Hotel recently unveiled their newly-renovated Crystal Ballroom. The $6.5 million renovation pays homage to the era that the original ballroom was opened in: the 1920s. This luxe venue held the city's most prestigious functions from the 1920s all the way until the 1970s. Thus, the architecture behind the updated Crystal Ballroom was heavily influenced by the old world charm of the original interior.

This all-new event space features ornate gilding, 8-metre high coffered ceilings, magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows, and unique chandeliers embellished with sparkling art deco-inspired crystal elements. It can also accommodate up to 300 guests, meaning you can throw a soirée worthy of Jay Gatsby himself! Finally, there's nothing quite as breathtaking as the view, which includes both Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto's iconic skyline.

A pre-function space was also updated and has been finished with a permanent bar and black mosaic-like porcelain flooring, providing a wonderful contrast to the white walls of the Crystal Ballroom.
