With many couples getting married abroad, it is often a natural choice for them to host a special wedding reception for family and friends at home as well. After a romantic wedding in Indonesia, British Columbia-based couple John and Kartika celebrated their marriage at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. We loved Kartika’s coral-coloured dress which was custom-made in Southeast Asia. Beautiful pops of coral were also subtly integrated into the centrepieces and floral arrangements, including the lush floral fountain that decorated the middle of the dance floor. The string trio that played throughout dinner was the element of elegance that made the evening that much more special and unique, while still maintaining the couple’s contemporary style.
