Samantha and Spencer wanted their wedding to be a unique and magical celebration, where guests felt they were on a “journey into the clouds.” Attendees travelled to the event by private skyride, and the couple said “I Do” in a tent constructed on the side of Vancouver’s Grouse Mountain especially for the occasion.
The elaborate ceremony site is just one of the reasons we chose to feature the wedding in our Summer/Fall 2015 issue (on stands now). The reception hosted in a series of outdoor tents — replete with floor-to-ceiling blush draping, antique crystal chandeliers, and suspended floral arrangements — is also nothing short of spectacular. Samantha credits her team of wedding professionals along with her mother and grandfather (Canadian business mogul and star of CBC’s Dragons’ Den, Jim Treliving) with helping make their wedding day dreams come true.
