Beethoven's Immortal Beloved

Vend Ors

Inspired by the love letter “ever thine, ever mine, ever ours” penned by Beethoven, this styled shoot features a romantic mix of modern-meets-traditional wedding inspiration. Although Beethoven mysteriously addressed the letter to his “Immortal Beloved” and it was never sent, having been discovered after the composer’s’ death, many contemporary scholars believe his declaration of love was intended for Hungarian aristocrat Josephine von Brunsvik with whom he had a relationship with in the early 1800s.

With the passionate letter and Josephine as the intended receiver in mind, this creative shoot presents style and design ideas in a soft colour palette of lavender, pale blue, green, and ivory. We love the table design that juxtaposes modern luxe furniture with loose, natural styled floral displays. The bouquet wrapped with a ribbon that features the famous  “ever thine, ever mine, ever ours” quote in calligraphy and the cake with musical sheet detailing and a “J & B” monogram also swept us away.
