Shama and Shaun's traditional Hindu wedding was nothing short of divine. The luxurious ivory linens and soft pink and white floral arrangements perfectly complemented the opulent, Spanish-inspired architecture of Kitchener's Hacienda Sarria. In addition, the day was filled with special details like the floral-covered arch above the altar and the navy blue blackjack tables that greeted guests at the venue's entrance. This bright and colourful wedding was simply unforgettable!
This Japanese-inspired shoot is a representation of the country’s rich history and rare beauty. Symbols and tokens emblematic of Japan take us on a tour that reveres tradition in this styled shoot. The greenery coated structure and aisle lined with bonsai trees are both designs rooted in tradition, yet evoke a sense of refreshing modernity that we can’t get enough of. You can see more from this Glitterati Style File in the current issue of WedLuxe Magazine (Toronto & Eastern Canada edition) on stands now.
This Glitterati Style file from our new “Literary Love” issue was inspired by the great epic love of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Many accounts have been written about the couple's history, including Helen Rappaport’s “A Magnificent Obsession” that draws on letters and diaries to document the pair’s deep devotion to one another. With Rappaport’s text in mind, each detail of this shoot was designed to reflect the grandeur and scale of the royal couple’s love. We fell for the opulent tablescape that features giant candelabras and floral displays composed with hundreds and hundreds of roses. The cakes and exquisite desserts also had us loving this editorial, especially the seven-tier masterpiece at the end of the post that is truly fit for royalty.
