Tara Fava and Matthew Maida’s wedding was a majestic celebration set at Casa Loma, a castle in midtown Toronto. The wedding reception was the first to be hosted in the new Glass Pavilion on the grounds of the castle and provided the perfect setting for the couple’s day and upon entering guests were greeted with the sweet smell of jasmine flowers that were strung along the entryway. The ceiling of the space was decorated with intricate, white draping and a series of crystal chandeliers that still provided a clear view of the sky. Without a doubt, one of the most unique and stunning elements at the reception was the custom backdrop placed behind the head table. It featured a pattern of shelves filled with white floral arrangements, jewellery-inspired artwork and glowing candles in metallic holders with more draping and jasmine strands hanging behind the shelving. There’s nothing more beautiful or inspiring than seeing two individuals and their visions coming together on one awe-inspiring day. You can read more about this couple's day in the current issue of WedLuxe Magazine (Toronto & Eastern Canada edition) on stands now.

Kelly and Henry’s stunningly vibrant wedding did not shy away from colour and both the ceremony and reception demonstrated the most magnificent decor and floral features. The couple exchanged their vows in front of an incredible custom ombré floral backdrop, which featured hundreds of cascading pink peonies. The reception took place on an indoor tennis court, which had been completely draped to create a more intimate environment. There is no denying that the series of 18-ft cherry blossom trees that decorated the space transformed it into a floral wonderland. With the cool linens and draping, the pink florals truly popped and made that much more of a statement! You can read more about this couple's day in the current issue of WedLuxe Magazine (Toronto & Eastern Canada edition) on stands now.

This styled shoot features an ice cream-coloured palette to complement the world of plants and wildflowers which provided poet, Emily Dickinson, with a constant source of inspiration and companionship. Glaze and John Events produced the “Poetry of Flowers” editorial, which can be seen in our “Literary Love” issue on newsstands now, working with an elite team of Toronto-based creative professionals.

Paper & Poste designed a custom watercolour-inspired floral motif that was incorporated throughout the shoot, from a stationery suite displayed with matching pastel-coloured chocolates adorned with flecks of gold to a large-scale backdrop produced by Event Graffiti. The tablescape was designed with a summer wedding in mind, our team was particularly taken with the Pinterest-worthy upside down ice cream cones from Nadia & Co~ that function as place cards.

Nadia & Co~ also created an exquisite cake with hand-painted flowers for the shoot and lollipops with edible fleurs, while Sweet Sammies Ice Cream Sandwich Co. designed a colourful plated dessert along with striped ice pops and slushies —a perfect cold treat after a sun-soaked ceremony or long night of dancing!

Artiese Studios was on hand to beautifully capture all of the details on location at Berkeley Fieldhouse. You can learn more about the shoot, including the Emily Dickinson poems that speak to the different elements, in our Summer/Fall 2015 issue (Eastern Edition), available for purchase here.

We fell in love at first photo with this luxe styled shoot produced by Renata De Thomasis of RDT Events + Beauty and captured by 5ive15ifteen Photo Company. “Inspired by Mulberry’s spring 2011 campaign, I wanted to create a playful, whimsical, and fairytale-like atmosphere with a twist,” shares creative director/producer Renata.

The shoot features three different, gorgeous lace Ines Di Santo gowns that are paired with sparkling jewellery from Tara Fava Jewellery and Instagram-worthy heels from Aquazzura Firenze.

Our team was particularly taken with the table design that includes a mix of soft pastel blooms from De Rose Designs & Floral Boutique, metallic rose gold decor, and marble-inspired stationery by Anista Designs. Artist Luisa Pariselli created the modern-meets-baroque backdrop that was placed behind the table and incorporated throughout the photo shoot. A cake adorned with miniature, red sugar roses from Nadia & Co.~ and a cotton candy station from Fancy Pufs complete the setting.
