A Multicultural Celebration of Love

Yuriko and Ritesh celebrated their love with friends and family in a multicultural multi-day celebration. The festivities kicked off with a sangeet party (or music party), which was held the day before the wedding. Japanese and Indian drum performances were enjoyed by guests (Yuriko herself even performed a traditional dance with her former dance troupe!) The next day, the couple were wed in a traditional Hindu ceremony at The Royal Conservatory, which was absolutely covered in garlands of fresh green vines – talk about a sight to behold! Finally, guests made their way to the reception, which featured a statement escort card wall made of hundreds of origami flowers and bright and colourful tablescapes, no two of which were the same. See more from Yuriko and Ritesh’s wedding in the new issue of WedLuxe Magazine (Toronto & Eastern Canada edition) on newsstands now.
