The months of June and July filled our Instagram feed with society weddings taking place in far flung destinations, from St. Tropez to Normandy and beyond! Filled with breathtaking florals, couture designer gowns, and multi-day celebrations, these are just a few of the society weddings that have inspired us this summer.

Nicky Hilton

Nicky Hilton's custom high-neck Valentino gown had the internet abuzz earlier this month. She and James Rothschild married at Kensington Palace in London. The bride wore three pairs of custom Louboutin heels throughout the day, and changed into a short, sparkly mini-dress for the reception.

The three day event started with a Dangerous Liasons fancy dress party at Palazzo Taverna. The ceremony held the following day took place at Santi Apostoli church, a basilica that dates back to the sixth century. The bride wore a Schiaparelli couture dress and cape, as well as custom embroidered Charlotte Olympia shoes to match.
