Reminiscent of aristocratic luncheons thrown by ladies in the English countryside, Angela's bridal shower was a royal affair. Hosted just on the outskirts of Toronto at Caledon's Royal Ambassador Event Centre, the event drew inspiration from English Garden Estates and Paris' famous Ladurée patisserie. With overflowing floral arrangements and a dessert table piled high with cakes, macarons, profiteroles, and a seemingly endless variety of tarts, Angela hit both her marks. Bon appétit.
A love of the glamorous Miami Beach and the ocean served as inspiration for bride-to-be Brittany’s bridal shower. This vibrant celebration was full of authentic palm trees, custom-made cabanas, pink peonies, and gold decor accents that created a breathtaking glittering environment. The 16-ft long sweet table was undoubtedly one of the highlights from the event. Not only, was there an extensive selection of delectable desserts to choose from, but the aquatic design of each individual confection was simply magnificent, making them almost too beautiful too eat!
A love of old-world romance and glamour served as inspiration for bride-to-be Farah’s bridal shower. The spring-inspired celebration was full of vibrant colour, fresh flowers, and gold decor accents. The use of colour in the design of the sweet table was simply breathtaking with bright, massive sugar flowers topping the cake and macaron towers and miniature versions of these blooms adorning every other dessert for a truly stunning and seamless setup.
We’re major fans of jewellery designer Tara Fava and her stunning creations, so you can imagine our delight when Krista Fox Photography shared these beautiful photos of the bride-to-be’s shower with us!
The celebration was inspired by the City of Light where Tara and her fiancé Matt were engaged last spring. Event Designer Melissa Di Pasquale of Melmarie Events created a romantic atmosphere at Aurora’s Magna Golf Club for the event that echoed the sights and pleasures of Paris. A seating chart was designed to mirror the famous Pont des Arts bridge filled with "Love Locks." Dining tables were decorated with a mix of fragrant coral and pink blooms in gold vases, and place settings featured demi baguettes in custom packaging from inkandpaper.
The pièce de resistance was an incredible sweet table display created by Truffle Cake & Pastry. The display included an endless array of Parisian treats and an exquisite cake with a hand-painted illustration of the Eiffel Tower that perfectly matched the theme (and is so Pinterest-worthy!)
