In our final Spring Bridal Makeup chat with celebrity makeup artist Victoria Radford (catch up on our first chats HERE and HERE), Victoria shared with us her most requested bridal makeup: The High Glamour Bride! "When Kim Kardashian's wedding broke the internet, the 'more is more' makeup look became very popular," Victoria reveals. This summer, she is finding that brides are requesting glamorous makeup with a more editorial feel for their wedding day. While this style of makeup features some classic bridal elements such as perfect skin and naturally plumped lips, the "high glamour" look features amped up eye makeup with facial features sculpted to perfection. Read on to see how she achieves this sought-after application!

Victoria begins with the Luxe Creme Liner in Onyx from her own line to trace the lash line, as she demonstrates here on Hockey Wife and bride-to-be Martine Forget (WedLuxe also loves Bobbi Brown's Gel Eyeliner!). She extends the liner out past the lash line to keep the cat eye subtle but lifted. Victoria reveals, "This cat eye is very in style right now, but I don't make the line too stylized, which prevents it from looking retro or dated." She then uses a smudge brush to bring the black liner up in the eye's outer corners, to create a "smokey eye" effect, without having to put heavy black eyeshadow all over Martine's lid. This, she explains, makes eyes appear larger, while still maintaining a fresh and pretty bridal look.

When doing eye makeup, Victoria likes to bring out a bride's natural eye colour, "Martine has beautiful hazel eyes, so I used a black shadow, but mixed it with a deep vibrant purple, which works to bring out the green in her shade of hazel." This, she says, achieves the same effect as using a more neutral colour like brown, while keeping with the glamorous edge she is going for. The pop of colour also keeps the black shadow from looking too harsh.

Because it important to balance the bold eye with fresh, youthful skin, Victoria ensures a bride's under eyes are bright and perfected. "I like to use a corresponding eyeshadow colour to soften the black gel liner under the eye, keeping it close to the lash line," she discloses. For Martine's look, Radford used a gunmetal shade that complimented the other eyeshadows she used. And if you're wondering about the high-tech Victoria is wearing, she reveals, "I wear a doctor's loop with a light when I do makeup, so that no matter what hotel room or location I'm in, I always have targeted lighting and can really see what I'm doing. As a makeup artist, lighting is essential!"

No glamorous eye makeup is complete without some falsies to really amplify your natural lashes! Victoria likes to load up on individual eyelashes, with an emphasis in the middle of the eye to life the eye's appearance.

Brows are important to a high glamour look, too. She will trim or tweeze any hair just to ensure complete symmetry, before using her own Radford Precision Brown Pencil. To perfect the browns even more, she used the Radford Colour Stick in Smoulder to highlight Martine's brown bone.

Victoria traced Martine's lip in the Waterproof Lip Liner in Ballet from her own line, and then applied a Lip Plumping Gloss in Cherub. To give lips more dimension, she shares a trick of the trade: "Use a lighten lip colour at the centre of your lips, which will make your pout appear fuller!" For this, she used the Radford Lip Plumping Gloss in Pure.

"With this kind of look, I will often save skin makeup for last so that I can clean up any fall out from doing the eye makeup," Victoria shares. This keeps skin looking fresh, so that more product doesn't have to be layered to cover up any errant eyeshadow. She used the Radford Mineral Powder Foundation in Vanilla Cream on Martine, before applying the Soft Focus Powder in Vanilla from her line.  To define cheekbones, she used Radford's Rio de Janeiro bronzer, and then added a touch of Baked Blush in Dahlia to the apples of Martine's cheeks. Finally, she layered a more shimmery blush on top, to give an instant, healthy glow.

In our first beauty blog post with celebrity makeup artist Victoria Radford, she walked us through her steps to achieve the perfect, natural bridal makeup. However, in today's world, not all brides are interested in the same look. From beachy and boho to high fashion brides, Victoria has seen it all, "I believe in individuality. Just because you are getting married does not mean you have to get your makeup done in a certain way. You should be who you are and look like the best version of yourself, so that when you look back at pictures in the future, you remember how you were at that time of your wedding."

For this alternative, more rock-and-roll bridal makeup, Radford worked with Martine Forget, star of Hockey Wives and bride-to-be herself, to walk us through how she creates an elevated yet edgy wedding day look.

As a base for this look, Victoria used her Radford foundation in Vanilla Cream. For this, she advises, "you want to buff the product into the skin using a buffer brush. This technique gives skin a velvety finish, while keeping the look effortless."

Victoria notes that "there isn't the same emphasis for skin to appear 'perfected' with this look." Instead she focuses more on contouring and highlighting, to really bring out a bride's bone structure. She loves to contour with the Mineral Sheer bronzer from her own line in Rio de Janeiro, a universally flattering shade that looks great on all skin tones.

"Using a metallic liner is a great way to make your eyes pop without looking overly perfect," Radford reveals. To give a bit of a rock-and-roll vibe, she used her own waterproof Luxe Cream Liner in Onyx on Martine's waterline and traced metallic silver eyeshadow (Chanel's Long Wear Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadow in Mysterio) along the lash line to keep the look soft yet statement-making. Then, Victoria explains, "we used a small eyeliner brush to trace the Luxe Creme Liner around the natural outline of Martine's eye to emphasize her lashes."

For Martine's cheeks, Victoria kept the look soft with just a whisper of cool pink, using the Radford Baked Blush in Tulip to compliment the silver eye liner. She brushed this only on the apples of Martine's cheeks to give a healthy glow.

To maintain an edgy yet warm look, Victoria recommends using a nude shade for your lips. "Using a rich, mocha tone of nude keeps this look from looking too cold." In this look, she used the Waterproof Gel Lip Liner in Ballet and Haute Cocoa Liquid Lipstick from her own line.

As always, it's important not to forget the transformative power of doing one's eyebrows. Victoria filled in Martine's brows with the Radford Brow Tint in Blonde Lites to give a natural, 3D look, before softly pencilling them in using her Radford Precision Brow Pencil in Blonde.

For hair, tousled beach waves compliment this bridal look and keep the "cool-girl" bride feeling like herself, rather than someone playing dress up. To achieve these perfectly imperfect waves, the hair team at Radford keeps the Cloud Nine Waving Wand on hand!
